COLLAB is a card-based reflection game that helps research teams explore perspectives, hierarchies, and collaboration.
COLLAB Postcolonial (2026) explores positionality, power structures, inequalities, and diverse forms of knowledge in academia.
COLLAB Interdisciplinary (2021) focuses on disciplinary perspectives and interdisciplinary communication.
The COLLAB games encourage a playful reflection on different backgrounds and hierarchies in academic teams in order to improve communication and collaboration.
With COLLAB Interdisciplinary (2021), you can address, discuss, compare, and exchange ideas about disciplinary principles and foundations. This allows you and your research team to create good and effective communication and gain new insights.
The second edition COLLAB Postcolonial (2026) COLLAB Postcolonial helps you to reflect on your own position and experiences, to recognise hierarchies and inequalities and to explore different forms of knowledge in academia.'
You can play COLLAB with your colleagues in research settings or at graduate schools. It is especially helpful for new interdisciplinary research teams and when developing a new project idea. We can also facilitate workshops for conferences or help you set up your own COLLAB workshop.
